Deborah Morehead

Chief executive officer

Deborah M. Morehead is a Pittsburgh native and enthusiast for minority business development, in addition to being a loving wife and mother. Deborah has founded and run several Pittsburgh-based businesses and takes great pride in giving back to the local community through her entrepreneurial endeavors. Mrs. Morehead graduated from the Clarissa School of Fashion Design. Upon graduating, she sought to combine her passion for business and design, by founding a clothing design business tailored to clients in the performing arts. Deborah experienced great success in the fashion industry, yet she saw an opportunity to reinvent herself and make a greater impact in her community. She looked to combine her expertise in consumer satisfaction, logistics and design with her husband's extensive knowledge of the electrical trade. Thus, Emerald Electrical Services, LLC. was born. Emerald still values the same principals it was founded on 10 years ago, which can be seen through the company's work on project sites such as PNC Park, Heinz Field, David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Hosanna House to name a few. Emerald's passion for consumer satisfaction and design, as well as its commitment to the community, has distinguished it from industry competitors.
